We’ve just had a lovely few days here at Honeycomb Valley with three UK backpackers who are part of the HelpX network. HelpX’ers exchange labour in return for food and lodging at the farmstay. Jenn, Lorna and Adam did a bit of everything during their stay from cookie making (for baking in our Sun Oven) to vegetable [...] It’s so cool when the universe works! A few weeks ago we received a call out of the blue from a Canadian backpacker who was struggling to find work in Bondi. She was looking for work in return for room & board.
